The frustration of having areas of a web page cut off when printing can now be eradicated by using WebPrint. This feature significantly improves the process required for internet printing and is an example of OKI Printing Solutions commitment to optimising printing capabilities for its customers.
What is WebPrint?
WebPrint is a bespoke software plug-in for use with Internet
Explorer 6.0 that comes included with all OKI Printing Solutions
Colour, Mono and MFP Printers. It solves many common problems of
internet printing with features such as;
• Automatic scaling - Matching screen to the
print media used
• Select area printing - Useful for when you only
want to print one element (frame) of the webpage
• Automatic page set-up - Layout of the webpage is
customised so that it is suitable for printing
• Print preview - Once customised, the internet
pages can be previewed, eliminating unnecessary trial printing and
reformatting
WebPrint is compatible with all current colour and mono page printers from OKI Printing Solutions and ultimately, ensures that you will save time, money and paper.
How does WebPrint work?
Once WebPrint has been installed, the small navigation toolbar can be displayed (See Fig1.0) or kept hidden (See Fig 1.1) so as to not interfere with workspace but still allowing to quick customisation, review and printing of web pages with a few simple clicks.
